I have decided to comment about Zeb Atlas because I don't get it and have found him sexually to be boring. I have not and do not buy any of the videos with his performances in it. However, I do like Matt Rush and Killian, so if you or others mention his pairing up with some one I like or perceive to be enticing, I am going to look at it and then comment. There are several threads and literally hundreds of posts about Zeb Atlas.

I understand that zeb has a following. I have never said anything about those of you who like him. What i have I said was that I DON'T GET IT.

HIs performances have been wooden to me and somewhat lackluster. I think there are other porn stars who do a much better job. My question is this the "gay for pay" ideology that had so many posts with thousands of opinions given about how people choose to idolize this performer for what he may not do or state he is not, but ostracize others for what they do and openly speak about who they are.

i like porn, I like watching it, discussing it and debating some of the issues surrounding it. If your comment is to imply that I am being hypocritical or something comparable because I comment here, then you are wrong. As you stated, my curious and inquisitive nature pertaining to this person and some of his pairings has me asking the question of WHAT people see in this guy. It's a question, not a statement.

For the record, if I should happen to see something that Zeb has done that I like, I have no problem and will be the first to let you and everyone know. It just haven't happened yet. I am not sure that it will, may not pro-actively seek it out, but if it happens, so be it.

I have enjoyed a lot of your post and opinion, but on this, you are starting to sound like a couple of atkolers that are not pleasant nor worth mentioning.

What's to get? Either he appeals to you or he doesn't, no need for you to ponder it beyond that, it seems. Those who do "get him" have no obligation to defend their attraction or interest. Beauty (and booty) is in the eye of the beholder, after all, so find one that cracks your whip.

All I have to say, is that I went into the scene with ZERO expectations and I really enjoyed it. I was expecting Zeb to be a total trade top, just get serviced and then stick his half-hard cock up his bottom's ass. But he was actually quite active and seemed into his partner, and did a good job for his first full-on sex scene with a guy. Of course being paired with the super sexy Adam Killian (who totally rocked!) was also a big help...

None. It's a legit question. I read the posts made here and realize that most of the men waxing profound about the subject of male/male porn and the straight/gay4pay/bi/gay men who work in it and am constantly reminded that most who post know nothing about the way film product is produced/shot/pieced together. If they did, most of what they post wouldn't be posted. There's no need for anyone to be defensive. It's all part of the way these products are produced.

Yes, if we all knew the horrible details, cold-hearted motives we would be turned off, sure, but can't that be said for almost anything that is attractive or alluring? The conjecture and guessing games that persist about guys like Zeb is just silly to me, the proof, for me, is what's on the screen. All the rest is just bullshit. My two cents.

I guess I'm just fortunate not to see any of it as horrible details. To me, it's as interesting as anything on the screen and helps to sort out the hype. Knowing what I know has helped me to be more discretionary when it comes to being a consumer of the product.

i am not asking you to make me like him, I am asking rhetorically what you and other see him in Zeb Atlas. I found his performances to be wooden and stale. If you or others do not, then I am curiously asking why.

My looking at him basically depends on who he might be paired with and how I feel about that person. In this case, i like Mathew Rush. I don't like everything he does, but was interested to see this pairing. I wasn't impressed not to mention, inquisitive about the issues surrounding the second meeting that never was.

Secondly, I have no "prejudices" against Zeb per se. I just have not been impressed with him. This does not mean that some one such as yourself could say or point out a scene or scenes were I might be able to see something different or a pairing possibly like this one with Killian that might be great. Killian looks hot and maybe Zeb has come around to actually performing and relating to his partner. If so, Cordell, that is the rhetorical question or comment that I think you or anyone who likes Zeb could answer or state without this being an "if you don't like him nothing I say will change your opinion".

Butch Harris is correct. Beauty and booty are subjective. I have no real bias towards Zeb outside of most of his performances have been lackluster for me. If what murphy said is true, I could look at his pairing with Killian. If it is hot and goes beyond the scope and pale, then i think for all of you or any of you who choose to comment have but to say... look at this or that. I feel he is better, best or excellent here.

Let's be real clear, I am not asking you to make me like anything. Cordell you have been one of posters whose opinions I find rather interesting and similar to my own. What question I have about this topic is how we differ. Nothing more nothing less.

my repeated question is far more rhetorical and questions what others see in this guy that I may be missing. You are right, up to this point, he doesn't appeal to me.

What that doesn't mean is that I will not look at any pairing that he may have with guys that I do like, find attractive or curious to see how they perform.

While I think Atlas is wooden and stale, I don't think Matthew is nor does this Killian look bad at all either.

I have not asked anyone to "defend" their like of him, however, I more interested to hear their take on him. There is a big difference.

What Cordell has done, sort of like your response, is to imply something completely different.

In basic film critique, one could talk about hte lighting, the music, the environment, the sucking of the dick, the enjoyment from the top or bottom, etc.

It's interesting that some one can suggest a movie they feel others might enjoy if they like a certain type of film. My question in many regards is along those lines. I don't get it, I have not seen it and I would love to know what others do see in him.

Someone spoke positively of the Killian pairing with Zeb, they said it was one of the better one's with Zeb and he seemed to be more active in this than before. If so, that is the kind of reference that I have talked about.

It may not be true for me, but I have only seem a few of his performances with others with Matt and I believe Jake Cruise. I have no bias outside of he hasn't done it for me.

Attraction is complex and to explain why one person or thing is attractive or not is an exercise I don't think worthwhile. I like Zeb, some others share my appreciation for the man, some others don't -- I don't think about it much more than that. Sorry.
